Meet the Union City Pet Hospital Team

Dr. Brian Chapman, Union City Pet Hospital

Dr. Brian Chapman

Dr. Brian Chapman grew up working on his parents’ dairy farm in Waterford, PA. His love, respect and compassion for animals helped fuel his future goals in the Animal Science field. He graduated from Delaware Valley University with a degree in Dairy and Animal Sciences. He then graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He became licensed to practice in both New York State and Pennsylvania upon graduation. Currently he is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

After he passed the boards, he went to work as a veterinarian at Dunkirk Animal Clinic in Dunkirk, NY. It was there he met his future wife Stacie, a veterinary assistant. Two years later, Dr. Brian and Stacie set forth on making their dream of owning their own practice come true by moving to Union City. On August 6, 2001, Union City Pet Hospital welcomed its first patients, and the rest is history.

A lot has changed over the years. Dr. Brian and Stacie welcomed three daughters, Sidney, Grace and Ellie into the family. The girls are active in sports and Sidney is enrolled in the Speech Pathology program at Edinboro Penn West. The family also includes horses, cats and their faithful dog, Hunter Buns.

While the veterinary practice has grown significantly and now offers more services and state of the art diagnostic equipment, a few things remain the same: Dr. Brian’s dedication, love and compassion for his patients combined with his down-to-earth, family values.
